What affects how much power you generate
Roof direction
North-facing roofs generate the most, but east and west roofs work well too, especially for morning and afternoon use.
Shading
Trees, chimneys and neighbouring buildings reduce output. We design around shade where possible.
Roof space
The usable area of your roof sets how many panels can fit.
Location and season
Output varies across NSW and through the year, with more in summer and less in winter.

Make your system battery-ready
Most solar is generated in the middle of the day, when many homes use the least. A battery lets you store it for the evening. Choose a hybrid inverter now and adding a battery later is simple.

What size solar system do I need?
It depends on how much electricity you use, when you use it, and how much roof space you have. We size each system from your power bills rather than guessing.
Is there a federal discount for solar panels?
Yes. The Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme provides a discount on eligible solar systems installed by an accredited installer. It reduces each year until the scheme ends in 2030, and it is shown on your quote.
Should I get a battery at the same time?
You don't have to. If you'd like the option later, we can install a hybrid inverter so your system is battery-ready. Adding a battery now means you can also use the federal battery discount before it steps down on 1 January 2027.
Can you install on a metal or flat roof?
Yes. We install on tile, metal and flat roofs using racking designed for each roof type.
How long do solar panels last?
Quality panels typically come with long product and performance warranties, and many keep producing well for decades. We'll explain the warranties for the panels in your quote.
