Finance FAQs
Is interest-free finance really free?
On the Brighte and Plenti payment plans there is no interest, but there are fees, such as an establishment fee and an ongoing account-keeping or monthly fee. Always compare the total amount you will repay with paying upfront. The NSW Home Energy Saver loan is promoted as having no interest and no account fees, and its limits and criteria are set by the program.
Who can get the NSW Home Energy Saver loan?
It is for eligible NSW homeowners and landlords installing approved upgrades. Income limits, program criteria and a credit assessment apply. We can talk you through the steps, and the finance provider makes the decision.
Can I use finance and still get the battery discount?
Yes. Federal discounts, and the NSW incentive if you join a virtual power plant, reduce the price of your system first, so you only finance the amount left over.
Who provides the finance?
Finance is provided by Brighte or Plenti, not by Entratech Electrical Services Pty Ltd. Approval, fees and terms are set by the finance provider and depend on your circumstances.
Will applying affect my credit score?
Finance providers run credit checks as part of their application, which may be recorded on your credit file. Ask the provider about this before you apply.
Can I pay my plan off early?
Payment plans usually let you pay off early. Check the provider’s terms for the plan you choose.
Entratech Electrical Services Pty Ltd is not a credit provider and does not give financial advice. Finance is provided by Brighte and Plenti, subject to their approval criteria. Fees, charges, terms and conditions apply. Consider whether a payment plan is right for you before applying.
