Can the GoodWe ESA power my whole home in a blackout?
Yes. Whole-home backup is built into the ESA, with no separate gateway. Very large loads may need to be managed during an outage, and we will explain this for your home.
Can I add a GoodWe ESA to my existing solar?
Usually, yes. The ESA includes its own hybrid inverter, so it typically replaces your existing solar inverter while keeping your panels. We'll check your system first.
Does the GoodWe ESA work with three-phase power?
Yes. GoodWe now offers a three-phase ESA alongside the single-phase model, so both single-phase and three-phase homes can have an all-in-one ESA system.
Does the GoodWe ESA qualify for the federal battery discount?
Eligible GoodWe batteries installed by an accredited installer can qualify for the Cheaper Home Batteries Program discount. Your quote will confirm it.
